accessing nass with sony bd360

I am using a bd360 to access music stored on a Readynass Duo. Unfortuneately I only get an alpabetical list of files to play without any search facility. Much as I like Abba I also like ZZTop and much inbetween. By the time I have scrolled halfway through my collection I have lost interest and gone to my cd collection. Is this a problem with the nass, the sony, or with me. Would I be better served by something like a WD Media Server?

It's NAS, btw and yes a proper media server would work better.

Physically organise your music into folders, and use the search by folder option.

i.e

Music

+A

+Abba

+Anthrax

+B

+Bon Jovi

..
