For those interested, you have notedover time, Hazels back/leg problems. She had a major operation on Thursday, a bit dodgy Thursday night and Friday. However, all is now well :? . . . as well as you can be after a scalpel attack. Sore, yes but the original leg and back pain has gone!!!! :cheer:

She was up in the chair today, able to walk with a frame. And standing more upright than she has for 5 years or more, she is thinking positive, wants to get home.

There are other complications but a walk in the park by comparison to where she has been and come back from in the past 56 hours.

Thanks all for your good wishes . . . Hazel has just phoned me, been walking with 'two sticks' this morning, sounds like she has been galloping around the hospital  She is so excited to be walking more upright, imagine what it must be like to have the ground at your feet as your normal vista for the past couple of years, suddenly you can see straight in front of you . . . we take it for granted? The physiotherapist plans to do the stairs tomorrow, if that works out . . . home?

All the best for your good lady's recovery.

I'm sure a few doses of her favourite bedtime drink will help!
