A very good gaming TV

Hi my friend (lives in Holland) has a PS3 and is looking for a very good gaming TV, he had his heart set on the Philips 47PFL9632D but has since been discouraged about it because people aren’t giving it positive feedback. Some are mentioning terrible lag when the TV is connected to a PS3. Can you please recommend some TV’s for him to consider, he has a list of features that he’d prefer it to have. Thanks - Less than 8MS lets say between 8 and 2Ms - Contrast Ratio 8000:1 or higher - Combfilter (not neccassairly) - 100Hz (Not neccassairly) - 550:1 or higher Brightness. - 40Inch or 42Inch

Sony kdl 40x3500 is wonderful on a PS3.
