One has to be careful about any raves of A&K portables. No question...the hardware is stunning and improving all the time. I own a late generation KANN. However, software is NOT their forte. The UIX is terrible. The more functionality they add, the harder it becomes to find and use the features. Last time I corresponded with A&K, they were still unable to support TIDAL. I would hate to try tackling a connect to my ROON Core. More investment needs to be made across the industry in software interfaces - stop building hardware features until you solve the user experience. For a clue as to my point on this, go look at ROON - the best functional interface in the world for superior music sourcing.
