A few months back my dad bought the demon m37 and diamond 9.1 speakers which had been replaced my old panasonic system they had been using for a few years but was never happy with but there had been no room for the technics separates since they redid the living room. I do however have a vague memory of another old old system; all 70s style wood sides and white fronts. I can't remember what the speakers and amp were, but on coming home for christmas yesterday I found the turntable hooked up to the pc for converting vinyl to mp3..... Turns out it's a Thorens TD60!
Even after being set up 30 years back it still stays where you put it on a blank test record!
I also got told how I once asked if I could
"clean" the stylus; that didn't turn out so good!
