I have only just noticed it when checking out something for my new P2.

No not yet.

Problem is that there was an old Elicit amplifier years ago, so google searching at the moment only gives info about the old product.

Rega always do this. New products with hardly a murmur.

Thanks for the tip, Chebby! Those vents on the amp look nice. I wonder where they got that idea from...cars maybe? Fast, agile, reliable, high build quality are associations that spring to mind.
