I think they may have a point.

I once worked out that I could spend a lot less on a projector if I just watched the resulting picture without my glasses on, therefore ridding the image of any 'chicken wire' effect!

S'okay for me though, I got my glasses from Vision Express and they regularly send me contact lenses so I'm good.

Just a thought, wouldn't a 70" 16:9 with black bars be similar to a 56" 21:9 anyway?

And what happens to all that 14:9 and 16:9 tv that all the broadcasters have just geared up for. Black bars at the side again - ah well...progress I suppose

Indeed, I doubt I'd actually buy one of these TVs as I'd buy a projector instead for movies. It does look good though!

Yup.

...And a much decreased picture height. It'll be like watching Cash in The Attic through a letterbox.
