£1000 Yamaha Surround Amp or Roksan Kandy K2 Amp + Dac?

I need to upgrade my onkyo 605 since I have just bought Mezzo6 speakers.

Should I buy a 5 star Yamaha DSP-AX863SE or RX-V1900 and use the stereo mode?

Or

Keep the Onkyo 605, and buy a Roksan Kandy K2 Amp and a Dac Magic?
