I'm posting because I wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problem before I start the laborious process of engaging support phone lines (and potentially returning the amp).
I have a problem with Airplay on the Pioneer SC-LX86. In summary the amp will stop presenting itself as an...
I know that I am reviving an old thread here but I too also had this problem and thought that I would post a reply on how I resolved it without having to take the amp back to the shop.
It seems (even with the lastest firmware) that there are a few bugs in the software driving the SC-LX86...
There will never be a right answer from the forums as each room is different and it is going to take time for you to play with your equipment before you get it where you want it. You do have some nice shiny equipment to play with however!
It sounds like you want a bit more bass. The things I...
First things first you need to spend £10 per person before watching whatever film you put on. Ensure your floor is sticky. Make some popcorn and invite a friend round. (Don't forget to spend another £10 on something). Give your friend the popcorn (spend another £5 for the popcorn) and ask...
FLAC is good. It is lossless and I understand the SONOS plays it. If in the future you buy something that will only play one of the other lossless formats, then no bother as conversions between lossless formats are lossless :)
If iPods play any lossless format then it will be Apple's equivilent...

See section on bitrate.
I take it back.... even LAME does not do VBR over 320 in an MP3 file.
I highly recommend Qnap, not so much Thecus. I have owned models from both. (They both sell great NASs but Thecus drop support for their older kit too rapidly in my opinion.)
Not knowing anything about the Denon or vTuner, I guess my first question would be... Can you receive any stations?
Next... Can you get access to the station using an alternate device? (e.g. laptop)
Citation please... I would be surprised if it was true and judging by the fact that someone 10 doors down from me asked politely to stop using homeplugs because it was ruining his ham radio hobby, I would be more inclined to think the exact opposite...
dougolada, in answer to your original question, I would say yes. Where I live there are half a dozen detectable 2.4 Ghz networks. With only 3 (20Mhz) non overlapping channels (1 6 and 11) it is damn near impossible to get the full bitrate. Using the 5Ghz band I get a channel bonded low...
