Personally I would stay away from a surround receiver for stereo. I had a Marantz 1601, which is well repected as a 'musical' surround amp and my Brio-R for £500 blew it away. I even borrowed a £200 Cambridge Audio amp while the Marantz was being fixed one time and it was a step up also.

Defo check out the Rega RS5's. I have the RS3's and love them, but that is with a Rega amp. Might be different with Leema amplification. Worth a gander though.

Thats interesting. If the P5 sounds better I may as well just keep my green p3 24 and upgrade it. I would like the p5 but I just hate the styling of it. The cool lines of my p3 24 look amazing. I would like a P9 but hey ho maybe one day ;)
