Thanks everyone. For those interested, I ended up increasing my budget and opted for the RP6/Ania Pro with the Rega Fono MC MK4 phono stage, and the Rega Elicit MK5 amp. After some running in time the system sounds incredible. The only issue now, is that the B&W 607 S3s are not the best matched...

That was the What HiFi quoted price but I’ve checked the offer and the price has gone up to £1280 and that is without the cartridge. Looks like I need to rethink this as you guys have intimated!

Thanks Daytona. Currently, Sevenoaks are selling the Raya P6/Ania for £1155 which strikes me as a great deal. The Arcam A15 has a built in phono stage but I’m not sure if I will need a better one, like you say, to get the best from it.
