    Budget amp bloodbath

Did I respond to you if I did thats a mistake! pretty sure you have misread that post entirely and or ive missed some grammar, or a return (most likely) ",like Al im off" in other words im outer here/I give up just like you where/was/are. And was directed toward the OP that was being bullish...

    Budget amp bloodbath

what? Dude you're getting more for less! what you arguing about im agreeing with you! yet I'd still take an NAD 316bee v2 and a wim pro over this audiolab, and have change for speakers But if you're going to be a co%k about things like AL im off.

    Budget amp bloodbath

"Technical improvements" needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Great thats its cheaper as "improvements" normally means more expensive. I would think of it more like this Improved at the price point/ the same for less

    The fun never stops

Watched 5mins and the difference can be heard between his phono stage and the Fosi in some instances. But all I hear is an incredibly thin sound across the board making possible differences impossible to hear.

Possible fault with KEFs or NAIM

I don’t think so no not by what the OP is discribing . Naim have know imbalance issues that would be easy to diagnose by simply swapping the speakers around. If doesn’t follow the speaker I’d be looking the volume pot first

Possible fault with KEFs or NAIM

Ive had few naim amps/pre's and they all have this problem, at a volume where its just bouncing off the min mark they can be really bad. Take it just over 8 o'clock and it will all level out, strangly I dont have this problem with my nait 50 so lucked out there!, but my superuniti had it my dac...

Possible fault with KEFs or NAIM

First port of call is swap the speakers around, left to right, it will tell you if there is a problem with the speakers or the pre/amps. BUT this sounds like good old Naim unbalanced volume pot at lower listening levels, as the volume gets turned up the imbalance disappears, its inherent in...

Lossless audio is not that important

Well science will say and I agree it's just fact. If an item/product measures 20 20, regardless of price, those differences should be apparent, so the " it's not hi res enough' doesn't really hold sway in my opinion. BUT!BUT! there is also scientific practice and are brains are very very...

Lossless audio is not that important

I find it strange that people can’t hear the difference between MP3 and Flac/WAV, and those same people then passionately claim to be able to hear the difference between legacy formats. It’s an interesting observation is all, and a conversation not completely without merit. Ill be the first...

Lossless audio is not that important

So @ToppingSMSL are you saying you can’t hear difference? Is that what you’re getting on at? Do you agree with the sentiments in the video. Forgive me if you have already stated this.

Please help - My LEAK130 amp keeps turning down the volume

Take the batteries out the remote and see if that’s problem. My Apple TV remote would make my volume go the other way and carry on turning the amp up. I had to hide the Apple remote till i could delete the remembered device in the menu. Not saying it’s that but it could be. If not ring the...

    Question Need subwoofer advice

Do the kef wireless have bass management? as in distance AKA delay? If not then really the sub will need to stay on the same plain as the speakers. It will pretty much sound wonky any where else becasue if you cant delay it the sub will either be reaching you to late or early. If It does...

Is my room big enough for floor standing speakers?

Yeah I think personally floorstanding speakers would probably be to big. However! you can get compact floor-standing speakers which are basically stand mounts with wooden stands attached. Examples of these back in the day would have been mission m73/ kef iq5’s tiny speakers with just a little...
