I didn't say class D sounds better than class AB. Current class D tend to measure better than class AB. That doesn't mean they sound different, as we can measure far beyond the threshold of human hearing. Can you define what class D lack?

If it's very low distortion you're getting a very pure signal. What you're basically saying is that you prefer distorted music. If course the other possibility is that expectation bias is doing its thing...

Power and impedance, sure. Difference between Class AB and D - D is winning that now with lower distortion. AB inefficient. Personal preference? Come on, you can do that with speakers!

It's easier to enjoy it once you understand that your cables aren't making the blindest bit of difference to what you hear. I'd say that about DACs, too, but that would open up another can of worms...

That's a high bandwidth Thunderbird 4 data cable compared to USB cables not designed for the same bandwidth. It's not really comparable with interconnects and speaker cables.
