    Archiving HD/Sd material and replay

The question is that i am looking at the Samsung BD-D8900M bluray player and 1 TB HDD. I presume that HD/SD recorded media can be exported via the USB to a storage facility? If so can this be replayed on any suitable equipment or just this player?

I am trying to get auto detected Dolby D signal from my SKY HD box. I have set up with HDMI and optical cables and set the audio output from the Sky box to Dolby digital as directed. The Yamaha manual leads me to believe that the DD signal will be auto detected and processed via the "STRAIGHT"...

    Suitable stacking with heat source

I am considering buying the Yamaha 863Se processer but would appreciate views on how to stack. I have three shelves on my Origin S2a to stack the new processor, blue ray player, DVD recorder, and sky HD box. My thoughts were to stack the heaviest and hottest on its own at the bottom (yamaha)...
