Thanks but that does not work and have cleaned all the pot contacts as well..Have heard old NAD's sufferred from Soldering probs; will give it a go .. I mean if I keep one channel volume on max and another on regular it does the trick but want to sort the problem as probably will miss on...

Would appreciate help. I have Nad 310 just brought down from the loft and noticed that 1 channel does not work properly ,extremely low volume..May be did not notice it earlier could it be one of the POTs or capacitors??
