I no this is old now but what we're the results. I have the a19 which I am happy with but just feel there's something missing, I love the sound of my dad's a38 and have been looking into using the p38 and the a19 as pre.

I finally bit the bullet and bought myself the a19, after a cambridge 351 and marantz pm6005 they just felt like a compromise from what I really wanted. I have focal 714s and arcam cd72, I am very new to this so not much experience but my God does it make me happy listening to it, haven't a clue...
