He says drive and motor belt not motor the way I read it ? Remember these early P3's have a little rubber belt/O-ring that holds the motor in place. If he has replaced the motor I would assume a 24v upgrade ?

The pully should be snug to push on, do not use superglue, use a small amount of silicone sealant which will bond it enough to stop it slipping but still make it easy to remove again if required. The other issue could be the motor is tired, easy to upgrade if needed.

I would say it is an Audio Technica ATN71.

As mentioned already you can add the NEO PSU to a P3, I added one about a month ago and it makes life easier, no lifting off the platter to manually move the belt.

Loved my first car which was MK1 Escort, currently drive a Nissan Leaf and although a great car it just does not feel like something that will go down in history like the Escort.

Golden ? I don't see it. I purchased a P3 in January, my bother in law say's " nice, I fancy some of that and gets Pro Ject all in one system, father in law says " brings back memories and gets a P2, Cambridge AMP and some B&W's. People love something tangible and the more we get it out there...

I am on my third Denon AV amp and never had a problem with any of them, I generally change them every 5 years or so just to stay current, no other reason.

I have an original Roksan Caspian integrated amp paired with a Roksan power amp.

Would not bother me at all, no different to getting your food, someone has stacked that shelf before you picked it up.

I change my AV amp about every 8 - 10 years, last time it was a great way to manage all the HDMI connections, all in to one unit and only one out, any thing to use less cables. Its also was easier to set up and had support for 4K, internet radio and UpNp + loads more. I am a couple years away...

If it works and you are happy then leave it alone but unless you are using wireless 6 then your data transfer speeds are lower to start with, the better quality the stream the better the connection needs to be. You will find very few business that would utilise a wireless environment and there...
