    Confused about headphone amplifiers

Want my address? You can keep them in my drawer.

    Dock systems and stereo separation

But the separation feels gooooood. I, for one, bought an rCube last year in a sale, and whilst it sounds clear, I just prefer the experience of listening to my Aktimate Mini's more. I've come to the conclusion that the soundstage is probably commonly too narrow on single speaker units... It's...

    HTC One Benchmarks crush opposition

These benchmarks are relatively meaningless for the vast majority of customers. More important, as BB indicated, are reliabilty and 'everyday' speed.

    Nexus 4 or Nexus 7

word to the wise: a little birdie tells me the Nexus 5 is just around the corner and that LG have infact stopped manufacuring the Nexus 4. The little birdie is my incredibly pro-google colleague. He may be wrong, however.

IPOD TOUCH 4TH OR 5TH GENERATION

The 4th gen uses the common apple connector so you have a plethora of docks to choose from. Trim your options by considering aspects such as, portability (battery or not), size, versitility (dock with radio, cd?) and of course, cost. The Zeppelin air is a quality dock but it's pricey and...

    Windows 8.....A simple synopsis please.

You're right, I am ignoring the point that it uses less resources than Windows 7. It's still there, running, ready... specifically designed to be used with a finger! If, by disabling the finger input as that link says, there are no processes running then I'd be happy.... kind of...

    Windows 8.....A simple synopsis please.

That's a good too... I guess whilst the UK isn't there yet, the main market might well be... Still, I wouldn't want my personal laptop being burdened with all the programs and documents from work. I expect the future to made up of to virtual machines where work machines contain no data but...

    Windows 8.....A simple synopsis please.

haha.. not the type of optional extra I'm talking about... If you plugged a touchscreen monitor into a Windows 7, it wouldn't work. If you plugged it into a Windows 8, it (probably) would. If I'm right in my understanding, there must be resources being used on your non-touch-enabled laptop...

    Windows 8.....A simple synopsis please.

That's more like it. The last few comments make some good points. I appreciate that MS must try all it can to attempt to stay near, or on, the top of the heap. It would annoy me greatly to know that the touchscreen functions affect performance or that something is always running in the...

    iTunes 11

Didn't notice Cover Flow was missing! That's a shame, it was quite nice doing that on full screen.. I can't seem to see people's shared libraries on my network at work.. In fact, I can't find the 'Shared' option anywhere! Overall though, there are a few bugs, but I do like the way the album...

    3rd party file transfer solutions

I use a pretty good app called Buzz Player where music and video files can be added through iTunes or can even be downloaded directly from media servers to the app. I paid £3 I think but it is pretty neat, although I must admint, I can't remember if it can play FLAC files whilst the phone is...
