I think in all honesty I won’t have the opportunity to listen as loud as I’d like to. In a soundproof studio I can turn it up a bit. I think my taste of music is so varied that I’m unlikely to find a fits all solution anyway. Never know, I might change my mind again.

I have considered Buchardt but it’s a faff to send them back if I don’t like them either. TBH I’m thinking of a pair of Genelec nearfield monitors and a sub in my studio when built instead. Get the benefit when producing music too then.
