Took advantage of the 1 month free trial for Sky Movies Pass which was due to end tomorrow at which point I would have been charged the standard £8.99 so decided to cancel. Went through the cancellation process at the very end of which I was offered 4 months for £6.99 a month. A massive £8 saved!

No boomy bass, they are quite close to rear wall so I have both foam bungs inserted. I use them mostly at low to medium volumes (50 on the UQ2) and they sound fantastic, vocals are strong, instruments are precise and bass is controlled. I thought I might need to add a NAP 100 to get the LS50's...

To answer the OP's original questions I listen to mine at just under 3m away and they are very detailed without being clinical. They are ALMOST as good as Guru QM10's but for less than half the money. I would reinforce an earlier comment about stands. I had previously been a bit of a sceptic...

Just purchased my Qute 2 this week. During the demo I listened to it hooked up to my own Dynaudios and the following speakers Neat Motive SX1 & SX3 Guru QM10two It drove all of these speakers with ease including my own which quite surprised me. If it wouldn't have completely blown my budget...

Mine are quite happy at normal levels but are definitely at their happiest when you turn up the volume. For £200 as already stated you could easily sell them on if you weren't happy with them and recoup your money
