That's not removable. You just push the BFA plug in - its hollow contact goes over what is effectively a banana plug in the Cyrus.

Cyrus use BFA plugs for speaker connection at amp end...very different from standard banana plugs.

Yes. The plug goes around and makes contact beyond them. Although you've 'broken' it as such, it's only part of the shrouding - a BFA...
