Got the chance of either the NAD C368 or Yamaha AS 701 or 801 at a good discount. But which is the richer sounding of the 3? I dont want a bright sounding amp.

Have a chance of getting a pre owned Cyrus 8XPD amp for under £700, it would be buying it wihout llistening though. Would it be a worthwhile upgrade, then upgrading the speakers in the new year?

Dont do streaming, just play cd's and run my tv/sky through the amp. Hegel has got some very good reviews and has a dac built in.
