    Sony XR-55A95K

Excellent news for you and long may it continue. Mine worked well at 5,000 hours, just 18 months as a big TV viewer. 7k to 7.5k hours it all started to fail. Good news for me I have been offered a full 100% refund. Looking to find a TV that may last 5 years +.

Just remember an OLED panel means replace every 2 years.

    OLED TV

Hi I can't believe that you still recommend OLED panels without pointing out the fact that they fail in fewer than 7,000 hours. OK if you buy a new TV every 2 years, this may not be a problem, but most of us aren't that wealthy. Regards Ron

    OLED Screen Burn

Thanks John I run regularly the pixel refresher, with no obvious effect. Red is now, what I call "dirty" over about 1/3 of the screen. Another way of explaining this is that red is becoming increasingly grey. As I will continue to say at the end of each comment; it isn't burn in, it's the...

    OLED Screen Burn

Thank you Here in the UK my product has a 5 year guarantee, but with a disclaimer that it doesn't include burn in, with specific comment regarding station ident. As we have seen from so many screen shots, station ident just isn't the problem; it's the general failure of red over most of the...

    OLED Screen Burn

Hi Thanks for your reply, but here in the UK I'm not inclined to meet the retailer part way on this. It is the retailers job to prove that the product they sell is fit for purpose. LG just isn't involved (liable) and as such they have no reason to respond to direct contact from a purchaser. As...

    OLED Screen Burn

Hi I thought I had explained. LG OLED screens don't work for long. The red in particular fails across most of the screen within about 5,000 hours. This is rather fewer than the 100,000 hours claimed by LG. Ron

    OLED Screen Burn

Hi Clearly LG has lied about the problem with OLED. Mine failed in 2 years and neither the retailer, John Lewis, or LG are currently prepared to do anything. I am going to pursue John Lewis on the basis that the product they sold was and is unfit for purpose. Please feel free to join me in...
