    Weak Passwords.

Looking at the heading, I thought you were changing passwords frequently (weekly) but now realise you mean weak.

    Room 101

I liked the guy who said if anyone wanted to know what was on he's got a copy of the Radio Times from 1980.

    Speakers in a narrowboat

Some may turn their noses up at this, but considering the restraints what about a pair of Apple HomePods which should fit in anywhere?

    sony oled

Looking at the specs it says that the Bravia 8 II has a QD-OLED screen whereas the 8a has a Triluminos OLED screen. The QD-OLED is the latest type and should be brighter if needed.

Trying to link up a Cassette Deck with an AVR Receiver

Looking at those connections and assuming the OP's are similar, there is a pre out which while not as good as a fixed output could be used for recording. It would need to have the volume on the receiver set to probably a middle level and the recorder making final adjustment. Some experiment with...

Help to choose a new integrateded amplifier before Black Friday.

I think you do have to be very careful but there are some genuine bargains if you do proper checks. In my case I got my wife a new Google Pixel 9a phone for £249 with interest free payments via Klarna. Although the price had fallen from the original £499 all other sellers I could find were...

EAR 834P Phono stage. Buzzing sound

The only thing to check easily would be the valves especially, as others have mentioned, whether there is some corrosion on the sockets and pins. Simply ease each valve out of its socket and reinsert two or three times and then check if it has made a difference. You can carefully clean the valve...

    Japanese Imports

On Ebay at the moment there are UK versions of this for sale at about the same price as those from Japan. If buying a Japanese one then you have to buy a suitable transformer (and trust you've got the right one), possibly have to pay customs duties and have a problem if it's not working or as...

    In need of help please.

Hi Mick Yes we are lucky to live in such a lovely area and after 41 years here we're almost considered local. I couldn't reply earlier today as we had a power outage - one of the less appealing aspects of living in a Devon village. With regard to using Freely, at the moment you can't record to...

    In need of help please.

You're welcome. I'm rather lucky because as well as RS we have HBH Woolacott's who are excellent but only have shops and deliveries in Cornwall and Devon. With regard to what you are looking for and noting your comments about inbuilt sound quality I think your possible choice of the Sony...

I think you'll find that a much better experience especially if you need advice or any after sales care.

EAR 834P Phono stage. Buzzing sound

Why don't you contact EAR/Yoshino for advice? They still manufacture the 834 phono amp so should be able to suggest what to check or even to service the item if you want to do that depending on cost.

Lecson AC1 pre/AP3 power for both design and hi-grade electronics and sound for their time.

New occupation suggestion - Eye Frame Fitter Professional (New word required to describe this job)

This is complete and utter rubbish. Suggest you research the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulations 1992 and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
