    Thanks, I'll search for that thread. You are right about the CEOLs though, their sound is very impressive, provided you don't use the standard speakers they come with. For me, the subwoofer made the biggest difference. It really adds weight to the sound and thanks to placement and tweaking it...

    I'm thinking of moving from my older Denon RCD-N7 CEOL (older version of N9) to the Bluesound Powernode 2. The Denon's sound is pretty good as is it's streaming. The powernode 2 looks incredibly small, but can it outperform the Denon sonically? If it can I would be more than happy to jump on...

    Both! Passive front bookshelf speakers and an active subwoofer. Very good sound for a relatively small amount of space :)
