Message to the _Ihc....maybe you have not taken correct note of my post.... With the Wadia connected to my DacMagic, my ipod screen stays the same as well as all my navigation options. With the Onkyo, am I still getting this benefit ?

Thank your Andrew for your answer. I guess then my next question would be ''which setting would be truest to the sound of a cd recorded in Wav in the Ipod menu''. I probably think that the ''flat'' or no setting would be best...

I have recently purchased a Wadia 170i Transporter. It is connected to the latest iPod Touch gen4. When playing, I can STILL use the sound-shaping settings (you know, jazz, rock, classic, lounge...). I was under the impression that this Wadia extracted pure digial with no interference from the...
