I love my little TEAC AI 501da class D amp. Last Christmasholiday I put the old NAD to the test with the 685's and it was to boomy for me. The TEAC has more control, more refinement. It's all a matter of taste but to me the TEAC is the winner. Last week TEAC presented some great new stuff.

FM radio is still around, Apple TV1 can still be used for streaming music or photo's from a iOS device, while SONOS is killing a good piece of equipment. It's the same as: factories stop producing CD's. All the CD's that you have can still be played. But what if they shut down your CDplyer...

I know, Bigboss, that supporting the software has it's borders. But disable, shutting down, making inoperative of a device that is financially, legaly, etc, yours is a strange development. The claims of SONOS are invalid. The battery can be replaced. It's still a good functional device...

Last week had a listen to the new 700 serie of B&W. Heard all 6 models, driven by a NAD M32. The small 707 s2 is a boombox at louder volumes. The 706 s2 is better but the 705 s2 with the seperate tweeterhousing is a great speaker. I like it even better than the 702 s2. (I don't know why a...

NAD and B&W pair nice in my opinion. The new serie of NAD is nice. Maybe the NAD C368 is an option.

Hifiklubben has a nice brand, Argon, which have a nice speaker, the octave-serie. Very wife-friendly and sound great for the price.
