    Problem with Amplifier

Could've been bad electric voltage? Try checking your power outlet voltage. If it perfectly matches your amp, I'd go with replacement as soon as possible. Otherwise, I'd try adding some voltage stabilizer. DacMagic shuts off on any voltage lesser than 180V. And some amps do had darker and...

Rookies Question, Any suggestion for Girl Use Hi-Fi?

Interesting question I would thought the main requirements are simplest possible operation. The lesser the buttons and selectors should be better! You probably should enclosure all those components in a nice box, and put on just a power button and a volume knob. That's it. Without being...

    Really confused by speaker choice

matthewpiano:I recently auditioned the PM6003 with the BX2s and B&W 686s. I've also listened to it with Quad 11Ls, Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s and 10.1s, Dali Lektor 1 and 2, B&W 685s, and Mordaunt-Short Aviano 1s (the last of those was an extended home demo between the MS speakers and the PM6003...

    MP3 PLAYER NEEDED

A friend of mine swears by Sansa Clip, which he think is much better than Clip+. He's listening it through a pair of Ultimate Ears -- not sure which model, never really interested with in-ears :) http://www.sandisk.com/products/sansa-music-and-video-players/sandisk-sansa-clip-mp3-players.aspx...

    Is it worth changing MP3 @ 320kps

You can say that -- although the 320kbps ones are really the top of the line MP3s, which probably could open possibilities of poor support on some players, at least in the past. Anyway I think the industry accepts them because MP3s are small, but unfortunately 320kbps ones aren't that small...

    Is it worth changing MP3 @ 320kps

Well you'll need to rip the FLACs from the original audio CDs, not from your MP3 collections! But I guess you can do that later once the difference bothers you :) I think what you're trying to do is to save some space for storing your music is that so? As for listening on the go, I think...

    Is it worth changing MP3 @ 320kps

I think 320kbps MP3s aren't that small. I got 10-16 MB MP3s from a 20-30 MB FLACs. Something around 1/2 of FLACs. Given the sound quality difference for serious listening, I don't think it worth it. For casual listening through portable MP3 players, flashdisk storages or so, I would stick with...
