Agreed. The sound quality of the bluetooth through the node is clearly better than when i play bluetooth via my roksan amp. A lot of this in sure is that the node uses bt aptx hd, where as my amp doesnt use hd, just plain aptx.

Yep, this is my main gripe. On the amazon app after ive listened to an album it plays stuff it thinks id like, and the tunes it comes up with were fantastic and things id not heard of before. It was way better in this respect than spotify. On the Bluos it doesnt do this, it just just stsrts...

I have had the node for over a year and feel the same. I think its pretty simple, the Dac isnt as good as the one in you cd player. My Cambridge 651c cd player seems to have better soindstage and depth than the node, and perhaps overall quality is better. I think for £550 the node is reasonable...

Yeah, i can see this happening i suppose. When i turn the volume dial passed 10 oclock, i can also start to hear a little brightness/harshness creap in, depending on the recording. Luckily im in a small medium sized room and 9 oclock on the dial is my usual optimal level, and here it sounds...

Great stuff. The reviews ive seen have all been extremely positive. Some mention low level listening can be only real concern. I often at low/very low levels. Do you confirm that they need turned up a little to get them to open up?

Yeah thats fair enough. They definitely arent what i would call tight sounding speakers, and probably are a little on the slow side, but yes, after 50 hours they wouldnt change too much.

I have owned a k3 amp for 7 years approx. Im very surprised to hear yours is cutting out. In my medium sized room i only listen to mine around the 8-11 oclock on the volume dial. I dont know the exacts on specs and calculations that attribute to how well a speaker is driven, but yours at 89db...

I liked and aporeciated the review. I skipped the parafraphs regarding the size etc and went straight to sound quality. I have owned the dynaudio dm2/7 for about 7 years now, they were the same sized model of the previous iterstion to the emits, a fairly similar speaker. Readi g the review...

Yep, the PMCs were definitely a wonderful speaker, and i will be trying to hear them again. I think youd need the right anp to prevent the treble being fatiguing, and im not sure what amp. The Primare was good in that it had a good grip on it. It made me wonder though from seeing comments, that...

Yeah, I think I oversized my room in the description. It is more 3.2m x 7m, and half way across its length it goes down to 2.8m. My dyns currently totally fill the room with sound, and hearing the PMC's, they were even more powerful, and I'm sure would fill my space with amazing sound...
