For that sort of money I would aim higher than an mf6. Personally I would look to 2nd hand market. Devialet 400 can be gotten with warranty for 4-4.5k. that is £12k of amp. Mf nuvista 600 ex demo with warranty for £3k.

I've just looked at the exhibitors. It looks like they have lost a few exhibitors. Very few big names this year.

Kef r have been around a while so possible however discounts of 20-30% are not unusual on this model.

Streamer wise I wouldn't consider much more than auralic who offer a stand alone in Aries or streamer / DAC solution. After support is brilliant, continuously developed and the interface is absolutely phenominal now. I ditched my CDs and just stream only. DAC wise I would only really look at...

I've not heard it but the reviews have been lukewarm. I think people were expecting big things from the 9038 but generally I think DAC performance has pretty much peaked.

Ellis. I currently have 2qute and Hugo TT on demo. I am not normally an advocate of spending a lot of money on dacs but the Hugo TT does things I didn't think possible so I fear ever hearing a dave. The 2qute and Hugo sound relatively average in comparison.
