Thanks for that but i'm a bit of a novice, but not stupid and learning as I go along. Do you know is each speaker assignable individually from a home cinema/surround sound module to play stuff transmitted in ' surround sound ' genre or does it just supply two lefts and two rights in stereo or...

Thinking of changing my B 'n' O Avant TV after 20 years to a none B 'n; O telly and I want to continue using my surround speakers --- 2 active 8000s and 2 6000s Bang and Olufsen. The guys in the TV shops tell me I can't but surely there would be a way to do it using some sort of say, home...
