Not expecting a reply, but got one! Lol. I have other old kit, and often look at the very old posts because they’re relevent. Maybe, someone else will do the same one day….

I used to have that amp, it was a little bright, but my speakers at the time (Kef ls50 meta) combined with my small room, made a lot of bass. Maybe tweaking speaker positions might help a bit? I did use a Rel T-zero 3 for a bit with this set up, was more than enough to fill out the bottom end...

I literally dusted off my (maybe 25 year old, I honestly can’t remember) dad3 today to try in my current system, just for fun… sounds great, very bass heavy, warm sound, I’m using it with Accuphase amplification and Devore Fidelity speakers.
