I'm pleased for you, Major. I have similarly started to enjoy my records (and CDS as it happens) a lot more although in my case it is down to being able to re-site my set up in the lounge. All thanks to a strategic furniture change :) All the best

When I tried the bi-wired option on the Marantz, there was a slight increase in detail and a slight loss of umph. Bearing in mind what you are trying to achieve I do not think it will help. All IMHO.

In my experience, buying an extended warranty pretty much guarantees nothing will go wrong with the item covered, leaving me to wonder should I have bought the warranty in the first place. (Not commenting on Cambridge Audio products).
