anything soon, as native_bon says I think we focus too much on poorly recorded/mastered material then upgrade things to try and make it sound better instead of looking at how good our systems can sound with a really good source. I know it's frustrating and it pees us off but it's not the...
they're ready to ship from the London distributor. The latest incarnation carries a DAC so even better value. There's no headphone output or turntable facilities though, it's an amp only but it's a belter. :) I think they still do a try-before-you-buy which is how I got mine.
Edit the latest...
to it, it was recorded live in the empty auditorium they were scheduled to perform their live show. I don't think it was originally intended as a cut for the album, but Christine McVee was so happy with it it went in. A really beautiful song and melody but written to carry a level of sadness...
I don't know where the modules are sourced from but the class A part of the Nord is the input buffer which can be swapped out to suit one's taste. Essentially then it's a hybrid although it will obviously run in this mode right up to max power. Is that right or have I misinterpreted something?
I would agree with your views on the low-level detail, mine are the m variant which might make a difference. I had that issue with the S4tl Kevlar but the Vincent amp had the biggest effect on that problem.
the older and/or more expensive models are OK but I couldn't justify the money. Mine met the hammer when it turned the amp volume up..and up..thankfully it didn't get to 11. The learning mode on the One for all is far simpler, no software involved.
I had a Logitech Harmony 350 and it lasted a week before I'd had enough and it had a 'chat' with my lump hammer. It kept losing its settings and the crap software is flakier than a Cadbury namesake. I went back to One For All.
