Well for one, there is a limit to what you can do, you need knobs and displays on the front and connectors on the back. If its an Amp you also need holes in it to cool down, or heatsinks. The mass produced stuff does and always has come in all shapes and sizes, and I would suggest some of them...

You could put something like a USB aptX (or other bluetooth std) dongle on your PC and a similar receiver on the HiFi end. Or, simplest of all plug a small tablet stright into the amp and play your youtube on that.

Looks like you want a minijack to minijack cable. I really don't buy into expensive cabling, but in this instance cheap stuff really can be quite crappy so buy a nice one that looks good and doesn't spend its life wanting to tie itself in knots. Anything over £15 could well be snake oil tho'....
