You’re in luck, as KEF publish ‘white papers’ on most of their designs.
‘Fill your boots’ may not translate too well, so I hope you find it of interest!

I see you have a Wiim Pro and Bluesound Nano. Would something from their respective stables suit, given you'd then potentially get streaming and amps in one box?
I realise a bit of homework might be necessary spec-wise, but they’d probably fit. I’ve not had any experience with the D3045 but...
I just got mine, via Royal Mail parcels, and it is indeed both quite heavy but rather unbalanced. The left side, with the whopping transformer, makes it feel quite lopsided!
Quick pic…
It’s better than that, mine is the M2, which is the ‘mark 2’ in old money. Rather swisher, to my eyes, especially in black.
The sellers pics are too large to upload, but mine is black with chrome knobs, like in the RS advert...
I can’t quite believe this! We rented early colour TVs fifty years ago because you needed an engineer every few months, and they cost a fortune relative to incomes of the day.
But then again you have to subscribe to certain car features these days - like heated seats or steering wheels, or...
Interesting to see the latest Caspian 4G pre and power amp just launched. I saw a brief video from the company and they seemed to be saying we had room to design it properly. Unfortunately the integrated Attessa model - which is often about one third off its original price - was a bit marginal...
Does it know what you want to watch before you turn on the set?!
Seriously, this sounds like marketing BS, just like things became turbo, i something, Green, eco, High Def, etc., all complete bollocks in most cases.
Some of the best LPs I have date from the late 1950s and 1960s. Super smooth sleeves, beautiful shine on the vinyl, smooth edges, holes the right size, and quiet surfaces even today.
I have the odd 180g and special edition from Mobile Fidelity, for example, but no modern coloured ‘vinyl’.
I haven’t seen that. I remember the twenty years, which PMC also offered, seemed a bit of a con as it only applied to the original owner. I’d much rather have Linn’s 5 years or ATC’s 6 years which applies to the product, not the owner, as it’s then transferable.
PS. Has it dropped to just...
I don’t recall that option on mine. In fact I never touched it, as I only used the app!
The manual is here in case it comes in handy…

For no obvious reason I find this new transport looks nicely functional and practical. The new Quad, from the same stable, looks neat too. Do they appeal to anyone else?
Hope to see them both next month at the Bristol show. Not that I need any more playing devices, but no harm in being...
In this size and price range the Q Acoustics 3020i and 3030i are on the warmer side of neutral with a smooth treble. I’ve not heard the Wharfedale or the Elac enough to comment, although the Q meta series seem to be balanced on the mellow side, based on the Q11 and Q Concerto reviews I’ve...
