i think i will wait till WHF has reviewed the v4i because they give the v4 5 stars would just like to see how much better than the v4 the v4i are i miss a bit of bass with my v1 and the newer v4i has bigger mid/bass drivers so more bass ?.i know the only cosmetic change really is the new tweeter...

hi i have asus xonar soundcard which then goes to my nad amp and tannoy mercury v1 speakers sound is fantastic :)

Do you think it might be something to do with our hearing as we get older.it certainly changes maybe thats why our tastes might change ? for example i have an app on my phone for annoying teenagers i set it to a frequency that i can not hear a thing and just laugh at the teenagers hold there...

like most grew up listing to mostly 60s music forced on me by parents funny how we come full circle sometimes as now i love 60s music :) the first album i was ever bought was status quo(pictures of matchstick men)quite funny as we had nothing to play it on parents would not buy me a turntable...

absolutely agree its great to come to the forum for advice about hifi equipment when your new to hifi.but sometimes you leave more confused than ever.most of us dont have the luxury of going and audittioning kit so blind buying is more common than demos especially for the budget minded consumer...
