Had anyone heard both the Dc6t and the kef q500's? I can get a nice discount on the kef's but they look a bit old fashioned because of the english cherry finish.

It is :) I must say the Tannoys have a cleaner design. In my opinion this is also somewhat important. If your planning to keep the speakers for a long time a clean design is always welcome.

@Broner : Thanks for the info, i'm really glad I found the site! I think I'm going for the Tannoys Revolution DC6T or the Focal 714v. I can get both at almost the same price. Which ones would you guys recommend given my setup and music preferences?
