Thank you for all the replies, in the end a friend recommended some 2nd hand B&W 601 which I have now purchased. As it's an old system sort of made sense to keep it retro so to speak, very pleased with them and better than the .missions they have replaced 👌

Mine are mounted high due to space but a bonus being out of harms way,what I will loose in quality is gained from being damaged .

The BR02 also look to be rear ported, the BR03 appear to be front and looks are appealing apart from the new price. Thanks for the reply

I'm confused which isn't hard for me lol, which speaker of the 2 is best suited ? Or is it worth saving more and getting bigger budget

The 2 I'm looking at are currently wharfdale 9.1 or the diamond 220 and will be wall mounted. I'm using an old pioneer A300 amp and NAD CD player. Which of these two would compliment the best ?

The Triangle Bora BR03 look great unfortunately look to be way over my budget
