Hi all,
I plan to build a home theater in the basement and i began to choose the components. And i need some recommendations.
I know that someone will write that there is no difference between hdmi cables, but in my opinion, at large distances it is.
Guy in online store recommend me...
Try to find projector here: http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator-pro.cfm
Put your room and screen prameters (dimensions) and program will show you proper projector. Than you can compare parameters.
I thing that BOSE Cinemate is quite good. Quailty of "surround" sound highly dependent on the room. You need to have walls on sides.
If you don't like it, try Yamaha soundbar.
That is right. But remember that crossover doesn't cut signal like on/off switch. It all depends on the crossover and its characteristics
The best way is, to check speaker characteristics. If it shows that the speaker works well at 60hz, than everything should be fine.
I prefer to use sub...
It is very bad idea to connect speakers this way.
Have you ever thought what would happen when you turn on both amps at the same time?

Bracket from first link looks a bit like cheap.
Aren't you afraid that the bracket is made from weak materials and over time may bend?

I think so too. Pushing small speaker to work with low frequency is not good idea. I don't think that you will kill speaker,

Do you know, that this is integrated system with its own built-in surround system that pretend 5.1 system?
I don't recommend you to use it as front or rear spekers in "normal" home theatre system.

Hi,
Depend what exactly you want to do. Do you have only B&O stereo system and want to upgrade it to home cinema?
Or maybe you have whole B&O audio system with media center? Than it is better to use dediacated B&O speakers.
Hello,
I don't think that it could be any problem for TV or sound quality.
If TV is not old box with cinescope, should be ok. It is better to have front speakers
spaced widely, but in this case it still should be ok.
Hi,
If your budget is low, you can try to use wall potentiometer to change the volume in each room.
Problem is that you can listen to only thesame signal in whole house and this is just half-multiroom system.
It is cheap solution and it works. I think that you can find this type of...
