+1 for the Yamaha and QAs. I haven't heard the 7000i but the 7000 is a very nice combination with Yamaha amps. The A2020 might be overkill - the 675 will be fine if you want to save.

I'm not sure if it is banding or DSE. I'm just aware of some slight vertical shadows on fast panning football shots. I can't see it on any other viewing apart from football, so I'm inclined to keep it for the time being.

Just checked the blu-ray playback and the input is 'PCM' despite the fact that I've got nice surround (connected via HDMI obviously, set to 'straight'). Is the amp playing up? Frustrated beyond belief.
