Of course not, although it would be much easier to have an official 'Snake Oil' thread, containing a list of known snake oil products. It'd save people having to ask the same questions over and over, and it'd prevent a fair few arguments.
It's fine over the length of a fuse but the longer the wire the greater the resistance. If you ran that 5A fuse wire the length of 1 meter mains cable it'd handle around 0.1A before melting.

I've tried lots of different cables. The only time I ever noticed an audible difference was when using really cheap (think 99p) or really badly made/designed cables.
I've been making my own cables for 20+ years, and used lots of different types of wire, but never noticed a difference worthy of...
