I should be.
Missed last year for the first time in many years as it’s been disappointing that a lot of main stream brands have not been attending. A couple are back this year so hoping to check them out along with everything else.
Looking forward to it. 😁
It certainly appeals to me but was a little too late to the party.
Back when I was looking at a new amp and CD player I was certainly looking at the Mission amp but the matching CD player (I like my components to match) was nowhere to be seen. Mission did confirm to me one would follow but...
Always use a sub for stereo.
Partially this is due to me generally using standmount speakers but additionally, a sub can produce bass I simply cannot get from an average floorstander. (Not to say they don't do a great job I just feel a sub does it better).
Ah, the basic service has limited quality so I'm not surprised it sounded poor.

I have the original Star Wars trilogy on VHS, VCD, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K.
This is the only film set I have in all formats and it’s really just a nostalgia thing. 😊
Just to use the laptop as an example. I can understand putting a stereo set up on this as you would tend to be sitting very close to it so you would be able to appreciate the separation between left and right.
If you play music from that same laptop but place it across the room, you would not...
Cannot really sum it up any better than this really.
With speakers of this size you would be very hard-pressed to tell the difference.
With a traditional stereo speaker set up you would have the left and right speakers X feet apart to be able to create the stereo image, soundstage etc. Just...
Personally, I would try to keep all speakers to the same brand/range to ensure tonality is consistent across all speakers.
I find that the Radius are a great match with the silver range.
If I were going to go full out on Atmos I would go for speakers on the ceiling rather than upfiring ones...
