Hello Benedict_Arnold Thank you again for help with TV sound through HiFi, I now have another puzzle, My wife prefers to listen to dvd's with sound through soundbar, not HiFi, but to get the sound from my Tv to my HiFi I had to take Toslink lead from back of soundbar and connect it to a DAC...

Thank you for all your comments, I have purchased a Prozor DAC Model PST-DAC01 for just £13.99 from Amazon, and it works a treat I dont even have to go into speaker settings and change output.I have a Toslink/spdif lead from tv optical out to DCA unit then phono RCA out leads to my HiFi amp...
