yes it has a pair of inputs marked L &R ;but what connects to these??

YES i have the manual; it is an integrated reading from the manual;PREAMP OUT to use your alpha 8 as a preamplifier connect the preamp OUT socket to the input sockets (power amp in ). at the rear of the amp you have preamp out L/R PORTS But i,m unsure as to which sockets to connect to ?

My hi-fi set up is ARCAM ALPHA 8 AMP .RECORD/DECK/CD/TUNER /GRAPHIC EQ./MISSION SPEAKERS. All working FINE; The alpha 8 has preamp inputs;which I am NOT using ;would I be better to ? If so how should I wire everything up ?
