No worries - having setup now another 5th Airplay zone in my home, there's very little that I don't at this point know or have not experienced with Airplay. It's all down to the router.
When at all possible, always use good quality cat5/5e/6/7 grade network cable to connect your...

Interestingly, there were NEVER any Airplay issues on this forum related to ANY manufacturer that could be attributed to anything less than an inadequately specified router.
Sounds like your routers just purely don't support IP multicast. If this is not supported then the symptoms you are describing would be replicated.
If they did then y'all wouldn't having ANY airplay problems. Theres no problem using Netgear N routers - just free ones that have had the good...
The BT homehub will not support Airplay / Bonjour / Airprint due to MultiCast Protocol / uPnP Discovery and WMM support not being a part of the BT homehubs specification.
Is it not the case that SONOS does not use your router - using its own ZoneNet protocol instead - the only way I think that routers are important in a sonos setup is if you are using and iPhone to control it.
Sonos operates on different radio channels that regular wifi - i think if I remember...
No harm to anyone here - but this is absolutely nothing to do with either Pioneer, iHome, Denon, Marantz or Apple - this purely is down to the fact that the BT homehub is a poorly specified, cheaply manufactured that BT give as a freebie.
Having extensively tested a number of routers and the...
@visionary
have you tried calling Denon UK Support?? - 02890 279 830 - follow the options for Denon Consumer.
its probably going to be a whole lot quicker than trying to get support through a forum - denon told me before that they don't read forums ( Don't blame them either - some forums are...
Hi Krisgib
Do bear in mind that the speakers you own are 6 ohm rated at 40-120w. the amp is rated at about 50 when in 6ohms.
Surely even in regular one cable wiring the speakers are being underpowered, given that your lowest level of power to get these speakers driving is about 40w, and that...
Hey,
Did anyone else notice that Kef were using the KiPearl Lite SACD and Amplifier in their two channel demo room? Did you hear those with the new Q series? Were you as pleased as I with these? Those new Kef floorstanders sound amazing in my opinion?
Heck even the CD/PM6003 that were being...
I have a few setups that I have helped my buddies setup, with amps from different manufacturers and blu-rays, dvd etc.
Nearly everything I have setup has been grand.... apart from when we get to the sky hd box. I have never experienced ever a unit that causes so much distress and...
Yes at last... some people who have cottoned on to what actually happens on the web.
Its like the rule of five.... if one thing happens to one guy/girls machine one time.... in order to dramatise it on the web and start the "sale of goods act attack" on the manufacturer.... one fault becomes 5...
Hey McJW,
Aye no worries. I think but that by the sounds of things you must have the SKY HD box that you're watching standard def via HDMi over, cause the stnadard def box does not have the HDMi out.
I think the difference that I myself did not make particularly clear in my thread was that I...
