    Ceiling speaker boxes

Thanks again SonofSJ and Bigboss. Your latest replies really helped me get my head around this. The Onkyo 646 does in fact have a "height" speaker option. So i think what i will do is use my Q Acoustics 3000i Cinema Pack as my primary 5.1 surround sound system with the speakers on stands, then...

    Ceiling speaker boxes

Thank you all for you recommendations and advice. I consider myself fairly savvy when it comes to hifi and home cinema. But obviously with new technology ( and along with it a 100 new acronyms) i find myself on a learning curve. Series1boy asked if i would consider "height" speakers instead...

    Ceiling speaker boxes

Thanks for your reply Son of SJ. See...i knew it would be too technical. The speakers that Onkyo are giving away are the SKH-410 and they retail at about £150. The only others i've seen widely advertised are KEF's retailing at £500. As for fooling the brain, could i use the Q Acoustics and drop...

    Ceiling speaker boxes

I understand that Onkyo are currently giving away a set of free Atmos speakers with this amplifier. I have read many reviews on them and...

    Centre speaker for B&W 685 S2

I have the 685 theatre system. I was fortunate enough to by the whole system together. The HTM62 centre speaker is the speaker of choice for that system. It's very good. A pair of 686's are also the perfect match for your surround sound rears.

    Naim Mu-so

Wise words indeed. It's just a shame that I don't seem to use my system as much as I used to. I couldn't wait to get the latest blu-Ray and enjoy the full immersion. But now I tend to stream and watch films on my laptop. I could also do with the space. Thanks for the advice.

    Naim Mu-so

Thanks for your reply. My lounge is probably only 15' x 15' (ish) and I would be sitting directly in front of it about 10' away. I appreciate your insight. Regards. Paul.

    Naim Mu-so

Hi. I am seriously (seriously) considering buying the Naim Mu-so. I currently have the B&W 685 theatre system. I have noticed that over the years, the way I listen to music and films has changed and im just not using the 685 as much as I used to or find that I only tend to listen to music using...
