    You can on an iPhone. Swipe across the track to the right and it brings up options to star or add to a playlist. Although I suspect you're right about the 2 devices. If I'm listening on my phone at work and my wife puts it on the Sonos at home, one of us gets paused.

    Nope, all you actually have is a licence to play the tracks. Once you move the CD on, you lose the licence.

    Using your media player of choice (Mediamonkey for example) load up the flac library, sort by track name and get clicking. Assuming you're running windows, holding down Ctrl will let you click multiple tracks. Highlight all the duplicates (easy to spot now they're in track order) and then...
