Im running itunes on a pc at the moment. Had a commute today and used them with a ipod for the first time. They sounded great in passive, really enjoyed them. They look like beats from a distance and i found myself getting looks from some dodgy people on my way back home.

Thanks Dale. Sorted. Like you i much prefer active. Passive does appear to have a veiled sound but i think i can live with the bass heavy active mode.

Wow. With the noise cancell switch on the bass is brain rattlin! Kind of like it though. However i am having serious issues with the cable plug input. The slightest knock causes the right channel to go.

I own he very nice Ultimate ears triple fi 10s but im wondering if the Klipsh are better phones. There is a few good deals on the Klipsch at the moment and im very tempted to go for them.

Thanks for the review. Logitech are a strange company sometimes ( why get rid of squeezebox!) but the ultimate ears division are capable of good headphones. The triple fi 10s are the best iem's ive heard so far.

I tought the e17 was fine but the arcam sounds better most definetly.

I did like the E17. The first one worked for a month but then the output socket started to cut out on one channel. The replacement didnt even charge. Shame , great design. Never had any problem with spotify. That must be annoying.

I owned the 25s and loved them. The Amperiors sounded promising on first accounts, easier to drive than the 25s and less resonant cups. But when i tried them on in the Apple store they didnt sound to good. Perhaps the source material wasnt good quality. Look great though.

Ive been waiting for this to come out. Have you tried it with a portable and if so did it improve the sound? My walkman A series has a sound limiter and has to be maxed out on the volume.
