Thanks yes that's what I've found. I was hoping for suggestions of alternatives that won't have this issue and/or confirming whether turning off NC can stop the issue outside.

I have had to return the Bose Quietcomfort 35 headphones I just bought because they sound like they are in a wind tunnel when you are outside even in mild winds. Am I right in thinking that the only way to get around this issue is turn off the noise cancellation? The Bose don't let you do that...
